Sheep shed disinfection method

The floor, walls, and fences of the sheep house must be disinfected frequently. Common tools such as feeding troughs, feed troughs, and water troughs also need to be cleaned and disinfected regularly. Under normal circumstances, disinfection is performed once every 1 to 2 weeks. If an epidemic occurs, disinfection should be performed 2 to 3 times a week. Thorough disinfection should be carried out in spring and autumn each year.

sheep house

1. Ordinary disinfection

Disinfectants can use non-corrosive, non-toxic surfactants, such as chlorhexidine, chlorhexidine, domiphene, batox, and poultry safety.

2. Empty circle disinfection

For empty circle disinfection, disinfectants with better bactericidal efficacy can be selected, such as 10% bleaching powder, 3% Lysur, 2%-4% sodium hydroxide, 4% formaldehyde, etc.

3. Disinfection with sheep

One is caseous lymphadenitis caused by pseudotuberculosis, which is very common. Use Baidu to kill the sheep to disinfect; and the other is the sheep nose fly from June to September, which uses 93% dichlorvos, which is 1 per cubic meter. Fumigation with sheep in a closed house of milliliters.

4. Drinking water disinfection

Some free-range households often let the sheep drink stagnant water and sewage, which is not advisable. The drinking water for sheep must be cleaned and disinfected. Halogens that are easy to decompose can be used, such as bleaching powder and calcium hypochlorite.

5. Fecal disinfection

The sheep dung in the manure storage yard often contains a large number of bacteria and eggs, which should be treated collectively. Disinfectant can be mixed into it, and accumulation fermentation can also be used to kill germs and eggs.

6. Terminal disinfection

After raising the sheep, especially the fattening sheep and the pens for delivery, thoroughly clean them. The cleaned objects and feces should be piled up to 1.5 meters high. Add appropriate amount of water to maintain a moderate 70%. This will be covered with mud or plastic cloth. On top, the accumulation and fermentation process for more than 42 days. Airtight houses should be fumigated with formaldehyde and potassium permanganate, and non-airtight houses should be overfired with hot alkaline water and gasoline blowtorch. At the same time, keep the house open for about half a month, and disinfect once with spray (iodophor or toxicoxin) the day before entering the sheep.

7. Three times of disinfection

Conventionally, we have to use the three-time disinfection method. Thoroughly clean before disinfection, and must be clean.

The first time it was disinfected with Baidusha spray, and the concentration was measured strictly. The prerequisite for this disinfection was physical disinfection (complete cleaning). The disinfected noodles should be spread all over every corner.

The second time is to use hot caustic soda water (5-10%) for floor disinfection and disinfection of labor utensils, and peracetic acid disinfection solution for iron utensils. If the caustic soda water is hot (water above 80 degrees Celsius), it will not be effective.

The third time was to use a gasoline blowtorch, below 1.4 meters, all overfire and disinfect. The gasoline blowtorch needs to stay overfire for more than 0.3 seconds before it can be killed.

8. Scientific disinfection

(1) Cross medication

Staggered according to the previous disinfectant, so as to avoid long-term use of a drug resistance. Use organochlorine, organophosphorus, iodophors, etc., which are reasonable, scientific, and cross-used.

(2) Adjust according to the season and the physiological state of sheep.

For example, in October in the north, the temperature drops and it is easy to get respiratory diseases, so we use Euchlorine and sodium hypochlorite as the main ingredients.

For example, in spring Ixodes and parasites (after stinging), they are disinfected once with organophosphate preparations.

For example, during the breeding season, there is a potential risk of brucellosis, so we use Suer (sensitive to brucellosis).

For example, in the season of foot-and-mouth disease, our disinfection channels should be replaced with peracetic acid disinfection solution and strong ultraviolet light.

(3) To prevent the disinfection of diseases, special measures must be taken

Lamb dysentery, which is disinfected along with the breast and vulva, is described in detail in the previous sharing.

Aphthous, that is to blow torch, has also been introduced.

9. Summer mosquito repellent

In summer and autumn, spray 3% to 5% dichlorvos solution every night in the barn and field to prevent mosquitoes and sheep nose flies from invading the flock. If there are more flies, you can use Flypyr.

Using alkaline water basins, the mosquitoes were exterminated in just one month.

Pour the detergent mixed with soap wire into a small basin filled with water and place it in the underground corner. After three days, the number of mosquitoes dropped sharply, and the basin was full after ten days.

The principle of the mosquito-killing method in alkaline water basin is to use the scent of washing powder and soap silk to induce mosquitoes to lay eggs. Because washing powder and soap silk are alkaline substances, mosquito eggs cannot survive in an alkaline environment and have a short life cycle. In the case of breeding the next generation, the number of mosquitoes will naturally decrease and even become extinct. It is also suitable for homes, but be careful not to let children or pets in the home eat them by mistake.
